How would you like to personally edit YOUR Contact information that I add to MY phone?
  • Make it easy to recognize you.
  • Include a picture that looks really good.  (Not one taken on the spot)
  • Show your correct Email addresses and Phone Numbers. 
  • Include some Important Information about your Business.
You do know this is possible right?
    And you have all the tools needed to perform this little magic trick right there in your Smart Phone.
I’ve met thousands of people in my carrier.
I may be getting old but for some reason I can’t remember everyone’s name.
Sometimes I can remember what they do, Often I can recognize a Face.
    I just can’t always put a name with the face.
Plus I’m quite busy like everyone else.  I keep almost NO business cards with me.
    The one thing that is with me at all times is my Smart Phone.
I may hear someone comment that they need a service a member of the chamber can provide, but I can’t remember at that time exactly what the person’s name was that provides that service.  So how do I provide the referral?

vCard Tips
  • Create a SEPERATE Contact entry that is used for sharing.
    • On the iPhone if the card is shared using iMessage then everything in the card is shared, Including Siri Relationships.
    • On iPhone is the message is Blue it was sent using iMessage, if Green then it went SMS Text Message
  • Only fill out sections for this card that you want the receiver to know about you
  • Insert a good picture of yourself (Head shot only. This will be used to Identify you.
  • In parentheses after your last name enter what you do, what you’re known for. Only one or two words. Think Yellow Book section.
  • Put information that you’d like the user to know about you in the notes section
  • I suggest entering your mobile phone number so you can receive text from this person
  • Put the contact the card in your favorites so it’s easy to find
    • On Android, Star it.

  • Share contact, sabe to files.
